The Ecological Approach to Family Style Dining (EAT Family Style) is an integrated (web-based + coaching) childhood obesity prevention program. Purpose: To improve childcare providers’ use of responsive feeding practices and reduce controlling feeding practices with three-to five-year-old children in their care. Advantages: 1. Improve your resume 2. Gain nutrition education and evaluation experience 3. Make a difference in your community 4. Learn about data collection methods on measuring young children’s dietary intake Learning Objectives: 1.Measure childcare providers’feeding practices through mealtime observation 2.Measure children’s dietary intake in childcare through meal observation 3.Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams 4.Present results at research and Extension conferences
