Student will have the opportunity be involved in research covering a variety of instructional topics and approaches.  Responsibilities will include data collection, entry and analysis, including coding of video-recorded instructional coaching sessions using observation software.  Students will learn about educational development and research, and work with faculty from a variety of disciplines, including educational psychology, engineering, and extension.

 Topics of current projects include: a) the analysis of science instructional coaching at the middle and high school level, b) the use of wearable technologies (e-textiles) with upper elementary students, and c) the use of “big data” to ascertain differences in the use of online instruction by credit and noncredit students.
